Junior Members

Here at York Golf Club we are very keen to encourage Junior Golf and are incredibly proud of the achievements that our juniors attain. We were one of the first Golf Clubs in Yorkshire to achieve the GolfMark standard.

Membership of the York GC Junior Academy ensures involvement in all of our junior section activities.

For those in Age group 6 to 13, your membership provides you with free group coaching to Junior Golf Passport level and hopefully your first handicap.

For those in Age group 14 to 17, your membership will also provide initial training if you do not have a handicap. However for those with an official handicap, your membership guarantees five 1:1 coaching sessions with either our Head Professional (Mark) or our Assistant Professional (Tom).
