TIER 2 restrictions are now in place in the York area and here at the Club
The Course remains open and in play - all previous rules re booking of tee applies
The Clubhouse remains open but is subject to STRICT social distancing guidelines
"Individuals cannot socialise with anybody outside of their household or support bubble in any indoor setting, whether at home or in a public place"
Any players wishing to eat or drink before or after play must therefore sit alone at an individual table
Facemasks MUST be worn in the clubhouse at all times until sat down to eat and/or drink
Despite the restrictions within the Clubhouse, playing visitors are still welcome - please book online if you would like to come and play.
Founded in 1890, York Golf Club is the third oldest club in Yorkshire and is recognised as one of the finest in the area.
Designed by 5 time Open Champion J H Taylor (one of the great golfing triumvirate of Open Champions / Course Designers alongside Harry Vardon & James Braid), the club boasts a fantastic history and the heathland course is a challenge to the most skilful of players but still offers a thoroughly enjoyable experience to golfers of all abilities.
