Are you an absolute beginner or curious about playing the game?

Get Into Golf is a welcoming initiative that offers an affordable gateway into a sport that can be played and enjoyed for life.

At York Golf Club, our Beginner’s Course delivers expert guidance in a relaxed environment, using simple equipment that we provide.

Priced at just £90 per person, group lessons are scheduled every two weeks with other range opportunities on the weeks between lessons. With places limited and, following previously successful schemes with both men and women, we expect demand to be high.

Anyone who is keen to progress further after can continue their golfing journey on Step 2, which runs from August to October.

If you have some level of experience and not a total beginner, we have our Step 4 of the academy which incorporates group lessons, on course fun events and one to one opportunities with existing members. This course runs from April-September and costs £140.
