Dress Code Guidelines

We kindly ask all members, guests and visitors to follow our dress code to help us maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

The interpretation of these rules is at the discretion of our General Manager, PGA Professionals, Bar Manager and any Directors of the Club, as available. If guidance is needed, they will be happy to advise.

All Players

  • Appropriate golf attire is expected at all times
  • Socks must be worn at all times (except football style)
  • Trainer style socks may be worn
  • Golf Shoes must be worn at all times

Men

  • Tailored shorts may be worn
  • Shirts are to be tucked in at all times

Ladies

  • Tailored tops and golf shirts designed and shaped to be worn outside trousers are not required to be tucked in
  • Non-tailored shirts must be tucked in

Juniors

  • Juniors under the age of 12 are not bound by these dress codes, but parents/carers are responsible for providing appropriate clothing where possible
  • Clean trainers may be worn

What is unacceptable on the course?
  • Cargo shorts and trousers (defined as having external extendable pockets)
  • Beach, Bermuda or sports shorts; blue denim trousers or shorts
  • Trainers
  • Metal Spikes during the playing season (hybrid/metal spikes are permitted in the winter months)
What is unacceptable in the clubhouse

Appropriate clean clothing and footwear should be worn at all times whilst in the Clubhouse.

You are politely requested to note that the following items are not acceptable:

  • Walking or hiking shoes
  • Tracksuits or leisure suits
  • Beach, Bermuda or Sports shorts
  • Beach-style flip flops
  • Headwear – unless religious dress dictates
  • Muddied or wet clothing
  • Waterproofs
  • Golf Shoes
