Membership Introduction

York GC is a true member-run club and has recently been ranked one of the top 10 courses in Yorkshire by Golf Monthly.

Members have the benefit of an excellent, superbly maintained course; a programme of regular competitions and popular “roll-ups” giving members the chance to meet other like-minded golfers; a first-class Pro Shop and coaching team; state-of-the-art practice facilities;  the privileges of a great Clubhouse with congenial bar and catering facilities; and an active programme of social events.

Adult memberships are available in a number of our categories but not all.

Our membership for next season April 2026-March2027 is open.  We now have 5 spaces available to replace the natural fall off expected. If you would like to join we would require a £200 deposit to secure your place. (the deposit will be taken off your annual fees in April)

Please note we are NOT charging a joining fee at this time.
